Mary Catherine Floyd has recently relocated to Raleigh, NC. Since completing an internship at the Metal Museum in Memphis, Tennessee, she has been working on her production jewelry line, Color Block Jewelry, and setting up her new metal working studio.
Miss Floyd is currently drawing on her expertise and personal experiences in metal and fiber arts. Her artwork has been exhibited locally at Artspace, and in Memphis, at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens, Levy Gallery, Jack Robinson Gallery, Opera Memphis and Ballet Memphis and is featured in the traveling exhibition Iron 2010. In 2010, she was also awarded the first annual Emmett O'Ryan Award for Artistic Inspiration by Metropolitan Bank.
